Recent Projects: We are very pleased to be working with our clients on a number of transactions that involve an interesting and challenging cross-section of corporate, commercial, IP and technology-related issues.
- Digislide Holdings Ltd - [ASX:DGI] specialises in the miniaturisation of projection technologies that can be built into mobile platforms such as PDAs, mobile phones and laptops. Digislide is also commercialising the DIGIVISION hand-held companion projector to display content from existing hand-held and mobile electronic devices. On 11 December 2008, Digislide lodged its Prospectus with ASIC and we were proud to have conducted the IP due diligence and written the independent IP Report in connection with the Prospectus and the IPO.
- Senator International Ltd - the largest privately owned UK company that designs, manufactures and distributes office seating, desking, storage, conference and training furniture to suit all office environments. Senator is now expanding its operations into Australia and my firm has been appointed as its legal counsel to set up a local subsidiary, protect its portfolio of brand names, and advise in connection with appointing distributors and channel partners.
- Edgility an Australian based company specialising in niche communication solutions, such as mobile marketing, integrated data base communication systems, WAP and 3G content solutions as well as the TIPSTREAM fully hosted and managed mobile sports tipping application.
- UBuild Homes - is Australia’s leading Kit Home company and has developed a complete Owner Builder System that allows owner-builders to manage a successful building project, no matter what size the job. UBuild's proprietary Owner Builder System is now being franchised and franchisees are being signed up. We have worked with UBuild to develop its franchising model and its legal documentation, including guiding the company through the regulatory requirements.
- NetBox Blue - a leading provider of network security appliances for SMEs, based in Brisbane and described as the "Swiss Army knife" of IT security and management systems.
- TigerSpike - the developer of the PHOENIX mobile content management system that manages multiple mobile content formats and distributes them to handsets in Australia and overseas.
